'Best Brand Marketing Campaign' award goes to....

We’ve been celebrating winning GOLD at the industry renowned MIMA awards!

The award was for our innovative and exciting MINIOPOLY campaign. The extravaganza brings our fantastic event portfolio to life in a unique showcase featuring 40 venues, over 500 event professionals, a human monopoly board and incredible prizes.

Miniopoly has grown and evolved considerably since its launch in 2014, through multiple exhibitions, events, ITA* Little Black Books, emailers, the web site and digital promotions and this caught the eye of the judges and secured the top prize.

We’re extremely proud to have bought something different and fresh to the industry. We’re passionate about MINIOPOLY. It has longevity, creativity, excitement, huge opportunity and potential, and, above all, the very best venue collection possible. Feedback from event professionals has been really positive throughout the campaign; it’s given event bookers simple access to incredible venues and created engagement, fun and awareness of all the venues within our collection. We’re all about making bookers’ planning journey with us as enjoyable and efficient as possible, so watch this space for the next MINIOPOLY chapter!

We were also thrilled to win the BRONZE award on the same night for ‘Best use of budget’, again for MINIOPOLY, a very nice bonus on top of the main MIMA award (we will stop boasting now!)

MIMA is the event industry’s recognition programme for event marketers. The awards were launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the marketers behind the campaigns that drive event sales.  The MIMA Awards 2017 were announced on 17 November at a special event at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, London.
