Hire Space Unsung Hero Award Winner – Olivia Parrott

We are delighted to announce that Olivia Parrott our Venue Consultant for Weddings and Private Events has WON the Hire Space ‘Unsung Hero’ award. This award celebrates an outstanding member of staff within an organisation. They are instrumental to the day-to-day running of a that business, they always go above and beyond for their clients and most importantly, they deserve to be recognised. Olivia is a critical player in our team, she is a passionate, personal, perfectionist; this is embedded into everything she does.

The award ceremony hosted by Hire Space at the Museum of London on the 24th October, was Olivia’s first ever, so excitement was plentiful. Comedian Mark Dolan, known for his work on Balls of Steel, hosted the glamorous celebration in the Sackler Galleries for 260 leading event industry professionals.

Hire Space co-founder and COO Edward Poland said: “It’s been fantastic to see so many event professionals out in force at the Hire Space awards, and we’re delighted for the venues and events organisers who have won this year. The Museum of London put on a brilliant show for us and we can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store.”

Olivia was shocked, ecstatic and over whelmed when Dolan announced her name as winner, highlighting her success with regards to her social media channels and excellence in customer service.

Olivia comments; ‘As an apprentice I did not think this was possible, I am delighted and humbled that ITA and indeed the industry have recognised my contributions and passion for my business. I love what I do, so what more could I ask for’.

We were thrilled to celebrate with our colleagues at Dartmouth House winners of ‘Best wedding venue’ and BMA House winners of ‘Best green venue’; both inspiring venues within our collection.
