Spring Time Elegance at No.11 Cavendish Square

One of the West End’s most elegant and versatile spaces, No.11 Cavendish Square is a wonderful venue for a wedding. The mix of Georgian splendour and contemporary clean lines give couples and their guests the best of both worlds for a sensational day.

Jo and Omra set their very intimate ceremony in Marylebone Town Hall, then guests moved on to No.11 Cavendish Square. They enjoyed drinks and nibbles in the splendid surroundings while the evening’s guests arrived to join in the celebrations.

Omra looked every bit the 1930s film star with her stunning David Fielden dress and elegant up-do, and the graceful surroundings of the venue really cemented the effect. The Orangery is a gorgeous choice for a reception, with its glass roof and panelling bringing the outdoors in. Excellent selections and arrangements by No.11’s fabulous in-house florist, Nichlas Vilsmark, made it even more picture-perfect for the occasion. Blooms of daffodils, hyacinth and other seasonal flowers looked and smelled wonderful and really complemented the gorgeous spring day.

Guests enjoyed a three course sit-down meal from Ampersand in the beautiful Orangery. A starter of charred asparagus and mushroom salad with buy klonopin overnight delivery soft-boiled quail’s egg and tarragon crème fraîche dressing was followed by seared fillet of sea bass with parsley and olive crushed potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and mussels, with warm salad of basil marinated tofu, baby vegetables, and toasted pine nut dressing for the two vegan guests. Dessert was a beautiful mix of English rhubarb with elderflower jelly with lemon shortbread in a martini glass, or a fruit platter and sorbet for the vegans.

Entertainment was provided by renowned wedding band The Dukes of Havoc, who played two sets and really got the dancefloor moving! The night then concluded with a disco, keeping the party going into the small hours. However, it could be argued that the real entertainment came from best man John who, having known the groom for a very long time, gave a winning speech filled with hilarious and charming stories from Jo’s life.

“Thank you very much to you and all involved in our wedding at No.11 Cavendish square. Many of our friends said it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to.

Thanks again for everything.”
